Leilie Mohseni is a Persian-British actress and singer-lyricist based in the United Kingdom. Born and raised in Iran, she began her acting career at the age of 13, when winning her first award inspired her to pursue the craft further. She received formal acting training at the Parsa-Film Institute, Samandarian Acting Academy, Roya Afshar’s acting class and Susan Taslimi’s workshop. Later she expanded her expertise by studying stage management and theatre technology, and film studies at institutions in the UK. She has performed in theater, television, films, her own music videos, and also works as a voice artist.
Alongside her acting career, she pursued a degree in Persian Language and Literature, which deepened her poetic abilities. Her work as a lyricist has been featured in numerous music albums and popular TV dramas. Since 2015, she has released her own music as a singer-lyricist, gaining multiple awards and recognition from international film and music festivals such as ARFF film festival, IMVA London International music video Awards, Real Time Film Festival, North West Royal Television society and many more.
