A Few Words About the Festival

The Woman, Life, Freedom Film Festival, organized by AIFTAA, took place from September 16 to 21 each year, across multiple cities from Brisbane to Stockholm, marking the governmental murder of Mahsa Zhina Amini’s death and birthday. Highlighting films on women’s rights, freedom, and equality, it featured screenings, workshops, and global discussions, supported by a jury of artists engaged in cinema and the women’s movement.
